Just got it thursday and I'm wearing my fingers to the bone playing with it.I've always played Gibson jumbos and Martin 15 and 18 series acoustice. It has plenty of bass and when played through my fender bass amp, it is awesome.I knew very little about ovations but I pick my instruments by sound and when I played this in tha pawn shop I knew it was a quality instrument. Are there any celebrity serial number lists available?Posted 2005-06-11 11:14 PM (#148111 - in reply to #148100) Subject: Re: Ovation serial numbersJoined:March 2002 Posts: 15305 Location: SoCalThere are no records on the celebs. It has the leaf holes in the medium depth body and the p24+ electronice. The serial number was all in black on the inside to the body where I could see it through the leaf holes.Im not looking to get rid of it, but would like to know when people ask me what the model is. This has every bit as good a sound although slighting different. Sorry. The way to tell a celeb from a US built Elite (besides the label ) is the end of the fingerboard. Ovation guitars look up by serial number.

A file with the TIF or TIFF file extension is a tagged image file. This type of file is used for high-quality raster type graphics. The format supports lossless compression, in which no image data is lost during the compression process. This lets graphic artists and photographers archive their high-quality photos in a manageable amount of storage space without compromising quality.

TIFF and TIF can be used interchangeably. TIFF is an acronym for tagged image file format.

GeoTIFF image files also use the TIF file extension. These are image files that store GPS coordinates as metadata with the file, using the extensible features of the TIFF format.

  1. Oct 02, 2019  Any program to Edit Tiff Files Howdy, I have a. Just not very efficiently. I am use to using design software that has a more user intuitive interface & effortless navigation. Like I said, Paint does get the job done, but it takes forever. I guess the biggest complain I have w/ Paint would be the fact that it's very cumbersome to navigate.

Editing TIF Files

One option for editing a TIF file is to use one of the conversion tools below. These don't require installing a full-fledged photo editing program that specifically supports the TIF format, but it does change the format of the file from TIF.

If you want to keep the TIF format and edit it, you can use the free photo editing program GIMP. Some other popular photo and graphics tools can work with TIF files, such as Adobe Photoshop, but these are often not available for free.

If you're working with a GeoTIFF image file, you can open the TIF file with a program like Geosoft Oasis montaj, ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, or GDAL.

How to Convert a TIF File

If you have an image editor or viewer on your computer that supports TIF files, you can open the file in that program, and then save the TIF file as a different image format, such as JPG. This can usually be accomplished through the program's File menu, like File > Save as, and selecting a different image format.

There are online file converters, as well as free image converter programs you can use. In some cases, free online document converters can also handle TIF file conversions, too.

For example, CoolUtils.com and Zamzar are two free online TIF converters that can save TIF files as JPG, GIF, PNG, ICO, TGA, and even PDF file formats. GeoTIFF image files can generally be converted in the same way as a regular TIF/TIFF file.

If converting a GeoTIFF image file, the GPS metadata may be lost in the process.

You could use word. Just add the image to word and resize it to fit into the printable region (Use one corner to resize, as resizing it another way would stretch the picture). Right click the image, then select 'Format Graphic' -> 'Layout' -> 'Behind Text'. Afterwards you could put text above the image. If you want you could use Text Boxes which would be faster in your Situation i guess. Doing this is not the best solution (This will probably look different on different Word versions, you will probably not be able to open it OpenOffice without significant changes (And it does not feel right for most computer enthusiasts)), but it is fast and should be sufficient for a tax form. And as you probably know how to use word you won't have to install and learn how to use another software.

Depending on what you want to do, you could fill the text boxes with a white background (You could use this to wipe out regions of the tiff, or use a transparent background to make it look more native to the .tiff.

TIFF is an image format. You should be able to open them in most image editing applications. Unfortunately, this format is not conducive to text editing. Your best bet MAY be to try to OCR the images if you need editable text. If you just need to modify the existing image you could draw white boxes over bad values, just like using white out on a paper document.

If you need to download an editor try The Gimp.
